I could eventually just copy it all to a spreadsheet which would give me those data points, but before I can do that I need to put it somewhere I can access it over time. So, I am looking for a place to park my data that will give me back that one simple feature.īut otherwise, I really just need a place to store and view the data. The Garmin Connect app only has that for certain key activities but if your activity isn't on that short list, say something like kayaking, you can't use that feature. It's a small thing, yeah, but it matters to me. I can look at each activity by year and see a total for how many activities and total distance for each year. The main thing I like about this app is its easy of showing annual totals.
Unfortunately, I recently received a notice in the Adidas app that they are going to drop the platform soon and I need to export my data.
I no longer actually use the app except to review my data for the past few years, I've been using a Garmin Fenix and in turn Garmin Connect pushes a copy of the data to Runtastic, which is now Adidas Running. I've been pretty successful with consistent use of this platform now for over a decade. I started tracking my activities back around 2012, and quickly settled on the app "Runtastic" based on its support for all of my preferred activity types.
